Halloween Pumpkin Carving

Pumpkins!

Well, I will never ever ever forget Lanie's first pumpkin carving memories. It was hysterical. She went through a stage where she was terrified of anything orange...the fire, a Nerf ball and unfortunately a pumpkin.

Now don't get me wrong, she loved the idea of a pumpkin and was completely fine until:

#1 We showed her the guts:
Lanie's Second Halloween 1 year old

#2 We lit the candle:
Lanie's Third Halloween 2 years old

Totally off topic, but WOW look at how different our kitchen is!!

#3  She was fine this year (from what I can remember and documented by pictures)
Lanie's Third Halloween 3 years old

#4 And We're Back
Lanie's Fourth Halloween and Addison's Second
Lanie-4 years and Addison -1 year

Addison LOVED it!!

Look at this comparison:
LOL

I love posting about the changes in my babies, it helps me remember what they used to be like. It is so hard to forget those baby stages. God has blessed up with 2 beautiful baby girls who are very different. I'm loving every minutes of each of their lives.

Pumpkin Patch and Apple Farm

ahh...the sweet smell of Fall...seriously, I love it! I also love how Niven's Apple Farm is 5 minutes from my house. We took Lanie back when she was 2 years old and decided to take both girls yesterday. It was packed and oh so fun.  Lanie wanted to play on the playground, there are lots of really neat little things to do there! I remember going here as a kid for a field trip, I was probably only 5 or 6. I hope Lanie remembers us taking her!

Lanie absolutely LOVED these tire things

It is very hard to get them looking at me!

I love my Little girl!

We also ran into Tina, Tj and Brielle! She is sooo adorable!

Lanie loved looking at all of the pumpkins...She smelled a rotten one, lol

She also couldn't figure out what sound to make , so she went back and forth between maa, moo and finally figured out baaaa. :)

We bought a peck of apples for $9.00, we got about 40 apples! They are "jonathan" apples and I will be posting shortly about the Apple Pie we baked with them :)

time with the girls

I love having the same day off as Justin. Normally we just relax at home but we decided to go eat sushi (turned out just eating hibachi) and took the girls to a park in the neighborhood I grew up in. It was so great to get outside. I was hoping for a little cooler weather, but it was nice anyways.

Before we left, this is what happened:
1/2 a gallon of milk---*tear* It even made it's way all the way over to the sink/dishwasher!

Lanie was so hot so we let her enjoy some sprinkler time

Lanie has been begging to pick some roses off of our rose bushes in the front yard, so I let her and she trimmed off the leaves and arranged them, how sweet and smart is she! I think she even shaved off some of the thorns, haha.
